Agriculture

When I think about agriculture, I imagine the following scenario:

  • Batteries to store the energy

  • Solar Panels

  • Electric tractors

  • HomeBiogas

  • Solar modules play an important role in the shift to a cleaner and self sustainable world. They are currently present in many houses, manufactures, hospitals, schools, and farms as well. Using solar panels for agriculture gives you many advantages, such as the capability to pump water to irrigate the soil, preserve the food, heating, and other appliances present in this lifestyle. The energy produced can also be used to charge electric tractors, and for storage using battery packs.

  • Batteries are important when using renewable energy, because we don't always have the sun shining, or strong winds to make the turbines spin. So we charge them up  when we have the sources available, and use them later when the sources are unavailable.

  • Electric tractors are a new concept, which brings many advantages in the farming business. For starter, they are electric, which means no need to buy gas, and we can say goodbye to breathing that pollution that unfortunately our farmers had to adapt in order to cultivate our food. Second, as most electric vehicles are, SUPER quiet. No need for headphones to avoid that loud noise, or to stop the machine if you need to make a call. Because of the weight of the battery and location, they have more torque and can handle heavy load compared with traditional tractors.

  • HomeBiogas is a system that allows us to use food waste to produce gas that is used for cooking, and also produces fertilizers that can be used for cultivation. This way the farmers will be able to cultivate the food, cook in the spot if they wish, and toss in the biogas the leftovers and waste from the plantation.
